Default Front end Alignment

how do I know it's time for one? what are the symptoms of needing one besides the obvious play on the wheel? thanks for any input plan on gettin one from delta world tire today after work if I do need one

Cupping of the tires, the truck pulls to one side or the other.

Alignment will not cause play in your steering (unless something has come loose). Tire wear can be an indicator of an alignment issue as mentioned. If it's been a year or two and you drive normal miles, might be time to do it. One thing to keep in mind is that even if your vehicle is properly aligned, your tires can still cause significant pulling. A shop with a decent tire machine can measure this conicity of the tires and place them on the vehicle in a manner that will minimize tire pull.

I had to install a camber kit on my truck last time, so that the camber could be adjusted properly.
