Default Front bumper

Hey guys and girls I have a quick question. I have a 99 f150 xlt. 2wd and I really want the 4x4 fogs. This being said do I have to buy the full bumper or can I just buy the valance? And how hard is it to wire up? Any help would be great

Should bolt up narmal and check your light harness and see ford is good at using the same wiring harness on any truck regardless if 2wd or 4wd. You might luck out and find a stock plug in. If you do you'll have to change out your light switch. Good luck and share some pictures when you get it done.

Check to see if you have plugs that have covers over them. Should be where the fogs lights are suppose to be. I ask because i heard ford used the same wiring harnesses for all trucks but i could be incorrect

If you don't already have the plugs I recommend searching a junkyard for the lights and harness. Then wire them into your headlights or battery. Pretty simple. I wired mine to battery with some aftermarket fogs in the licenses plate holes.

Don't forget that a like-year Expedition would be a good donor - for the switch AND the valance.

Can I just swap the Valance for the stock fogs or do I need the whole bumper?
