Ford is the ONLY true American automobile manufacturer. They didn't take a government handout and were able to rebuild.

Fords suck. No you do! :JoeDirtvoice: You should probably go buy something built with your tax dollars, make payments, and pay more taxes on it once a year. I hear the Fiat Ram-a-horn is awesome :thumbs up:

It always easy for some tool to act tough with a keyboard. He's prolly the same guy that got plenty of wedgies and swirlies in high school.

Ok, with that said, what is so bad that you bad mouth your truck. It is your truck, so you knew what you were buying when you bought it.

As far as an 89 Dodge, they can be good or cost you an arm and a leg. What are you complaining about specifically? If it is a normal wear item, you have nothing to complain about. You said that the Dodge had a complete new suspension. That couldn't of been cheap. Look at 1994 and up Dodge complaints. You would be happy to have your Ford. They have a 3-1 repair rate over similar Ford repairs, and better than 2-1 over Chev/GMC. That in itself says, Dodge wasn't very good for that model. We won't even talk about their transmission problems and the current Hemi has all sort of oiling and piston nightmares.

Dodge pu's made after the 1994 new model, have the "WORST" rating of any US sold vehicle in car crashes. Yes D & W series 1500 Dodges, are rated the worst for frame damage and body damage repairs. Seems like the kind of vehicle I personally would stay away from, especially in an accident.

This was just posted a few weeks ago on either WSJ or Consumer Reports or something similar. I read so much I can't remember the sources sometimes.

Not to mention you don't go on a vehicle specific forum and start trash talking what the forum is all about. That's not proper forum etiquette anywhere. If you don't like the decision you made on your vehicle keep it to yourself because nobody wants to hear you complain. If you need help fixing something or tips on how to maintain your vehicle properly, that's what were here for.

If this forum were a bunch of dudes standing in a garage, and that guy said that...
uh oh.. someone's ending up in the hospital.
or worse.. driving down the road in a dodge..
