I'm talking put it on a 4v not a 2v engine though, I've seen the 2v setup unless you are talking about the 4v

Haha ill find out this week if I'm actually getting it. It was taken out of a wrecked navigator and the shops putting a new engine in so whatever core cost is is what ill get it for, maybe less since it needs work.

That's sweet, then your set. You'll already have the 8 bolt crank, oil pan, heads. Just rebuild it and of course you have make it better before it goes back in...

I just finished reading this thread and have to say I enjoyed it. I learned alot it's a project I couldn't do on my 98 with 176k on it, but I could get a 5.4 and rebuild it. Now that would be fun.. Thanks...

Oh - your going all out? 4v would be epic, but adds extra complexity. I'm not really qualified to state what will work. BUT... Heres a good read:

The 4v wont matter until you get over 500rwhp by all I've read
