Default Fordmotorsport's build thread!

Well, I did have this entire kit up for sale but because horsepower fever has set in and its getting nice again, I am going to be starting this swap relativley soon (week or so). I am doing this for the a few members that asked me to. Questions or comments are always welcome!

I am doing this by myself, waiting for a couple more parts to come such as my fan spacer, Metco lower pulley. I just talked to JJ @ Woodbine, so my tuner should be here next week.

Yeah, times are tough and I had a lot of people wanting parts and I didnt want that hassle of arting out. I just had to start this thread because I am sure people were annoyed seeing posts that pertain to sale? Oh well.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, but then again I still go out in the morning and stare at it as I drive away in my pos work car, haha. Whats even funnier is when people tell me its badass looking...def a 10 footer but its mine and I have done most of the work to it!

So, I was thinking about some parts to buy now rather than later just because this will all be apart. I bought a new eaton boost bypass. Since I bought the spacer from Madenterprise, I was going to buy a new water pump, sensors, lower rad hose,..Anybody think of any other little parts that I can throw on while it is all apart? Thanks.

I am going to be starting this on the 23rd, Busy with work but I received my tuner and boost bypass today. I figured since I am in that deep, I bought a new water pump and fan clutch..both genuine Motorcraft.

To combat my trailer weight, I bought the Hellwig 991-EZ-990 Helper Springs. That is really all I can think of replacing while in there? I am going to little things before I start the major tear down such as fuel pump, mount the Metco lower, intsall the intercooler reservoir, so I will post pics when I do these......stay tuned.

Thanks, Are you really going with 4.56 gears? I went with Motive 4.10's and she sounds like she's screaming going down the highway! I was contemplating the 3.73's but who knows...I guess if you don't drive the highway too much you're good.
