Default Fog lights

Hello guys I am new to the forums and I have a question about fog lights. I had found some fog lights but there is only one black wire coming from the lights. No there isn't a broken wire inside I can see where it comes out and it definitely only had one wire coming out. Does anyone know how you would wire these up?

What kind are they? Im guessing they grounded internally so hook up the hot wire and see what happens.

The black wire is the 12V one that gets hooked up to your power source via a switched relay. The lamp casing gets grounded via the mount to the frame.

So should I just run a hot wire to the light to a battery to see if they work?

You have them in series there...not good.

You need to connect them in parallel.

The 2 black wires connect to the positive side of the battery and the negative to the fog lamp casing.

In your truck you just need a switched live cable to connect to both black wires. The lamps bolted to the bumper will provide the ground.
