Default Fog Lights

Is it only the 4x4's that have fog lights in the plastic below the bumper?

Yep except on King Ranches, but most trucks have the plug for the switch and the fog lights.

The STX, Harley, and Lightning trucks also had the fogs in 2wd. But yeah, if its wired up for it, you'll see the plug mounted on the frame by a Christmas tree clip. Make sure you have the fuses in also. Here is my 03 2wd with the Depo's:

I thought that might be the case. I like those fog lights down there. I just got to check for the wires, right? Although I have a 2WD I like the lights!

Yes sir. Pretty easy to spot, so you won't have to look too hard. One thing though: When looking for the valence, most, if not all will list it for 4wd. Not 2wd. Its simply due to the issue stated earlier. It'll mount up just fine, so no worries.

You might also want to look at Expedition donors for that valence. Certifit and LMC truck carry them (online) new. In your case, any one from a '99 to '03 will do. I have a '98, and I had to get the bumper with the fogs off a '97 Expedition. Plenty of donors out there if used is OK.

Should be able to get them cheaper. I think I only payed somewhere between $70-$80 for mine brand new. Just had to paint it. The whole conversion cost me about $200. Maybe a bit less.
