I'm planning on taking my front bumper off and repainting it in the near future. Though my truck is an XLT, it didn't come with fogs way back in 97. I want to be a little unique and throw some 97-98 depos in there.. Where would I start? What would I need? I've researched this and haven't gotten much..

You have an aftermarket bumper on there? Or you got 2wd?

Nope just the standard 97-98 4x4 bumper.

Well idk why yours dot have em... Mine is the 97-98 4x4 bumper with dogs... And I'd love to have a different one hahaha. That's one of the things I hate the most about my truck..

Yea man it came with just a 4x4 bumper like you and I have now but with black covers behind the fog holes. When I got my new one, it had fogs in it but nasty yellow and no wiring lol

look by your front bumper where the fogs would be and see if you can find connectors tied up...your truck may be prewired for them so all you have to do is get the switch and the lights themselves and maybe a relay

I thought that as well and looked not too long ago but didn't find anything.. I'll have to check again though. It'd make things a lot easier haha

Ohh I got ya man. You punted yours black. That's why I was thrown off. Lol. I wanna get a 99+ bumper honestly. Or something. And some mean lookin fogs.

Haha yep but me too man I've been looking and replacement are so expensive.. I'll be going to the pick apart here soon to see what they've got Layin around.. If I can't get one oh well
