does anyone know how to do make the fog lights turn on when the lights switch is in the auto position in a 03?

 

Good question, BRyan. I wouldn't mind knowing the answer either...

 

I put in a seperate switch for my fogs and ran the power from the hot side of the parking lights. Thats the way I've always hooked 'em up and have never had a problem.

 

I did all the steps mentioned on the geocities site except for the jumper because the switch is different on my 2000. Other posts say to jumper wire 5 and 12. I did that but i guess i blew my parking light fuse. No parking lights, head lights and fogs work together still, but no parking and fogs together. Any ideas?

 

Can anyone help with why i'm blowning the fuses with those 2 jumped wires?

 

Why do I find it hard to believe that no one else had the fuse problem like I am? I've seen it on other forums.

 

I have not done this mod yet. but my problem is that my switch does not lock, it just pops in and out. and 2nd, to doesnt just "pop" to pieces. its all glued together. id like to do it...
