Default Fog Light installation question

I have a '99 supercab 2wd lariat without fog lights in the lower valance. I want to add a set of factory ones. I know I'll need the lights and valance, but what will I have to change with the wiring? Has anyone installed these before? I don't have an electrical schematic to see if the wiring is already installed. Would I need a new light switch cluster too?
Any help or advice is appreciated.

I think... THINK, your truck should have the pigtail tied up there.

Along with the valence and lights, you'll need the headlight switch that allows you to turn them on, or you can just wire your own switch if you'd rather.

99 2wd, I don't think so. 4wd is a good possibility (97-98 4x is wired from the factory).

Look where the lights would be mounted, then look at the radiator support for the pigtail on both sides. If not there, then you have to add the wiring

Maybe that's what I was thinking; I knew some of them had the wiring but wasn't sure which models.

That can’t be right, my 2000 F-150 2wd has the wiring, it’s a base model too.

I just walked out to ;my neighbors 2001 SCrew 2wd and it has no pigtails for the fog lights. The other 4x4 02-03 has factory fogs, so that didn't give us another answer (US made). My parts truck, 98 2wd, has nothing there for the fogs. (US made) My Red 98 4x had factory fogs. My other 98 Blue 4x. had the bumper holes and the wiring was tucked up behind the bumper on the support. All these trucks are XLT or Lariats. Both Red and Blue trucks are Canadian made.

I don't think I've ever seen a 2wd XL with fogs. Some Lariats yes, but never an XL from US or Canada, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Interesting the different things we have seen posted, which didn't seem to have as options in the GEN 10's. The right corner of the vehicle VIN tag says if the vehicle is an SOP or stock configuration.

That’s extremely odd, my truck is an old Georgia Power work truck so it’s as base model as can be so manual locks and windows and vynil flooring. But when I look under my bumper I definitely have 2 male connectors, longer ovals. And I’ve looked up the fog light and seen the femal connector on the light and it appears to match up. Sooo, that’s extremely weird

This is probably an SOP truck, being it was for a power co. Ford did things for a commercial truck like that in the original order from the fleet rep. Depends how many they sold and required adding the light kits.
