Default Which Flowmaster Super 44???

I have a 97 f150 with the stock exhaust exiting in front of the rear passenger tire. I am looking to get a super 44 muffler for it and know that it has 2.5 inlet and outlet pipes. My question is what offset on the muffler should i get for the inlet and outlet pipes? Thanks

Your going to want 2.5 centered inlet and outlet. I have a 97 and I went with a super 10 flowmaster with dual outlets, but if you take a look at your stock muffler the inlet is centered and the outlet is centered slightly lower. when you cut your exhaust off, cut it as close as you can to your muffler so the stock heat shield above it is still useful and you shouldnt have any drone

I have a super 10 si/do and absolutley love it, not really any drone but sounds mean as hell throughout the whole rpm range. Plus with duals out the side it bounces off buildings and etc nicely

Not flowmasters, but duals from the manifold out is the way to go.
