Post Flowmaster 40 series

I just had mine installed today and can say im pretty suprised at the interior noise level. I have SI/DO. The exterior noise has a little rumble to it but the inside of the truck I can not hear it at all. So I would recommend this to anyone looking for a muffler.

I have always heard people saying that this 40 series is extremely loud on the inside. Any one else had this problem with hearing it on the inside?

That's one reason why they aren't too noticeable inside the cab.

Any pics?

I have that muffler, with dual side exit tips. I can hear it, there is a little rumble but, not much. And thats how I like it. But when I punch it, you will hear it.

A friend has a SI/DO 40 series on an 06 4.6L with turndowns and it has a real noticable rumble from the outside, and somewhat from the inside. I like to hear it though, it isnt too loud by any means.

Yes I can hear it good on the outside of the truck. Just on the inside I was suprised by not being able to hear it inside the cab. Like the rumble from underneath.
I have always heard you will hear it louder on the inside if you have them turned out the sides or dumped over the axels.

Yea I will try to post pics today. Its still raining here alot for the last 5 days now. But if it lets up a little I will get out and get some.

I am running a MagnaFlow Cat cancel header back pipe.. Which comes with only 1 Highflow cat on each side.. And I also have it dualed out with a MAC H-Pipe. And 2 40 series 2 chamber flows.. And it is dumped at the rear axle.. And I can hear it in the cab pretty bad.. LOL..
