Im debating whether or not to install a b&m floor shifter. Im just a little concerned in dropping the pan to swap out the gear selector shaft out of the tranny. Has anyone done this? Was it hard? Is there a way to make it work with the stock gear selector shaft in the tranny?

Do an electric switch. Makes it easier to use, turn **** n its done.

 

I would also do electric switch it looks better and like you said just turn the **** and your in 4x4.

 

Electric switch for what? I just want to know how hard it is to swap out the shift selector arm in the tranny and to install a floor shifter on a automatic and not use column shifter.

 

Are you trying to go from an automatic to a manual tranny If you are then you need change out the whole tranny

 

U wanna move the shifter from next to the steering wheel to the floor?

 

Just want to install a b&m automatic shifter to the floor and no longer use column shifter.
