fleet side bed to flare side ?

Default fleet side bed to flare side ?

i have a 1997 ext-cab regular bed the bed pretty rough i want to change it to a flare side can it be done what can ya suggest thanks

Very easily done just unbolt the bed and swap make sure you disconnect the tail lights only thing that maybe diffrent is the fill pipe for the gas tank

Yes they All match up ford Only makes one frame for the truck wether it's fleet side or stepside it's the same frame.

This explains why the super crews have ridiculously short beds... Kinda reminds me of a 1/2 ton sport trac lol. Turns out they don't want to make longer frames, huh?

No the supercrews do have different bolt patterns. I was talking about all the 6.5" beds that no matter if they are stepside or fleet the bolt pattern lined up.
As far as supercrews I believe they have the 5.5 foot bed to keep the wheel base short. They do cone with the regular 6.5 foot beds as an option now

I Know Its Old But Does This Apply To The 06 Crewcab(Back To Doors Smaller Suicide Style). My Truck Was Hit And Bed Gonna Be Replaced And I Was Curious Whats Involved In Going From Styledside To Flareside/stepside

I Know Tail Lights Are Different But I Imagine Wire Up And Connect To The Exsisting HaRness With No Mods...And I Heard The Filler Tube Is Different?
