Default Flareside Tailgate

Hey guys new here.
I have a 2000 xlt flareside and noticed the tailgate is rusting around the drivers side hinge. The bottom side is just about gone. Is there a way I can fix this without welding? Also I might just get a new tailgate but not sure if it's the same size as the stylesides and if not what's compatible? Everywhere I look, new ones are for stylesides.
Thanks!

You'll need one off another flare side or supercrew. The flare sides are a narrower gate than the straight sides.

Anyone have any idea where I can get a new one without going to a dealer? I checked most places online and can only find ones for styleside.
I know if I want to fix it, the right way to do it is use new steel and weld the hinge, but I don't have access to a welder. Is there a way I can do a temporary fix with bondoglass and the fiberglass sheets to get me through till spring. I have to use a power scooter and I need my tailgate to work so I can get it in the bed.

Thanks. It sucks that rock auto has new ones for the stylesides for $87 plus shipping. Was hoping to find new so I don't have to deal with the rust from the start.
