Default flareside roll bar

Im looking for a roll bar in black that would fit my 2001 xlt 5.4l triton flareside. Does anyone know of a good site, i want to mount a spare tire to it in the bed. I looked at tiregates but they dont make one for the flareside as far as i know. any help would be great. Thanks, Faber

The only pre-fabbed bars that i've found that will fit our trucks are the Go-Rhinos:

That's just an example cost page, but you can get the idea. Problem here is that they wont mount a tire unless you do a little metal fabbing yourself to add hanger.

The BEST place that i've found for bars, though, are these guys:

They make custom bars to order, and i'm sure if you talked to them about it they'd try to acommodate. Once i get some cashola back from buying my house, they are top of my list.

I've been on this subject since i bought my truck.

Here's mine. I purchased it from the AZtrucks.com site 98Flareside mentioned. I'll get some better pics tommorow. At the time they didn't offer the light bar for it, but they do now. my two lights are mounted right into the 1/2" holes GoRhino drilled, plugged, and tapped for the light bar.

As for your tire carrier maybe you would like this? it's made by Fabtech and bolts to the bed. Holds up to a 35" tire

I actually looked into one of those myself. Because my exhaust interferes with my spare tire carrier beneath the bed, my spare is kicking around in the back... loose. Still havent figured out what i'm going to do with it, but the tonneau hides it for now

Pay95? (confused)

The rhino bar like mine goes up to a tripple-double (3 bars to the window with 4 bars to the bed)

As for the link you posted - yes that goes straight to the bed. mounts flat instead of slanted. you could also probably mount it to the side of the bed or tailgate if you want it to stick up like on an older truck.
