Hey Hoffman! Looks like the "Flag pole" thread caught on right away as a place to argue about subjects that have nothing to do with the original topic lol! Great job!

Anyway,
I like the idea, one of the last little debates I got into had nothing to do with the threads topic and I asked the "opposing" member to PM me to continue the debate so the thread didn't get all mucked up for the OP... Didn't happen, the OP probably read two pages of crap only to find there was only a couple suggestions to aid him with his situation...

 

Why do people write a lengthy post about a subject (for example^^ yours on using the search button etc.) and then edit it to say something showing total incoherence for the surrounding thread?

The first post was better than your edited version lol... At least it somewhat pertained to the thread at hand haha

 

Cuz it's not worth my time to argue about this you read it obviously and you know that I'm right whether or not you will admit it is another story and all of you know that the search works 3 % of the time I've said my peace

 

Geez, Lol, I wasn't trying to start an argument, I also wasn't directing my first post in this thread at you or anyone but the OP...

This thread also didn't start as a "use the search button" thread haha... But quickly turned into one which is fine cuz it is a perfect example of what the OP was talking about and he intended this thread to be the place to hash out such situations...

I was only asking why people edit their posts... You took the time to type a 500 character post, was just wondering why one would take the time to do so then edit it to nothing making a confusing remark that has nothing to do with anything instead... That's all, I wasn't arguing about the search button...

But, while we're on the subject,
If I need to search for something whilst on my phone, I open my browser on the phone via the menu on the app, hit the search button on the forum from browser and click "advanced search" in the drop down menu (cuz the drop down text box doesn't work on most phones browsers)... Takes 2 sec...

Either way I'm a fan of the search button but I have never given anyone crap for not using it...

 

Haha man I'm not saying anything I read the entire post and my reply was based off of the entire thread. People getting mad about repeat questions and how annoying it is to answer them and what not

All I was tryin to get across was that suck it up asks answer the question if you have any input been in the situation or whatever the case

There are guys/girls that have these trucks that don't know anything about them but as for this thread ad another it seems like we but heads a lot and forgive me but I'm not in the best of moods pertaining to my situation at hand

I completely agree with you, I always answer the questions... I have never said "use the search button" and wasn't disagreeing with what you said at any point here...

As for butting heads? Yeah the other thread, but not this one... I was just asking why you edited you're post haha and nothing else...

And I feel for ya man... You should post a pic of this girl, so we know to stay away haha... She sounds horrible

 

Imo we need to create a a tenth gen specific faq that answers all the popular topics about our trucks and make it a sticky.. but im sure we'd still have a few morons that still create a thread to ask topics already covered lol
