Default FIX GEM MODULE DRiver window problem

I checked the "HOW TO" section and it did not have a how to write up on how to re wire the driver side window and by pass the GEM module.

I had this issue and i thought it would help to post on here how to bypass the GEM module. I found an diagram photo from another forum through google but that was about it. i found nothing online about the GEM module unless they suggested to just replace the whole thing.

I was not about to replace the gem module just so i can roll my window down or stop it from rolling its self down. Now the diagram its self doesnt need your attention just the instruction on the left side of it. i also took a picture of what I did after following his instructions. and it works GREAT! saved me hundreds of dollars replacing the GEM because it was causing my driver window to to stop working and or roll its self down randomly! now that i followed this write up i was able to by pass the GEM module for the driver window and pull out the AUTO down relay so the GEM module would stop clicking and try rolling down a window it is not connected to now.

after doing this your window should roll up and down (without the auto function) as normal and without the window relay in its place.

i tried finding the site again to give the guy credit here but i wasnt able to, i forgot how i came across his photo... so sorry??

I recently fried my gem module jumping my truck. I have a 2000 F150 automatically ingage 4x4. Please let me know if you can help window, wiper, wiper pump, dome lights and chime all not working.

Does this fix also allow the full use of the passenger side window. My GEM kicked over and with the weather one window stuck down and the other up I'd like full use of both Windows.
