Default five beeps

I go to my truck this morning, go to start and relized I left my parking lights on last night. So I start her up and i hear 5 beeps or a dinging sound 5 times...
This happens now when ever I start the truck and again 45 min into driving...any idea????

Have you tried resetting the computer? You could have ran the battery down and this be some kind of warning indicator - I have never had this problem before myself

mine does the same thing i always thought it was the air bags because when i got the truck the airbags were deployed. i found out that it is coming from the ecu area. and i have reset it a few times now and it don't stop it.

I think it might have something to do with the air bag system. I have a faulty airbag module, and before the airbag light use to come on. Now it dosen't.

Did you put your seat belt on? I would get that when I forgot to click it. I got so annoyed I finally used the procedure to turn it off. I sit and idle doing datalogging and run up and down the block trying things. I put it on when I hit the main streets.

Maybe a problem in the circuit? It knows you're there but doesn't recognize the fact the seat belt is buckled?

dose it beep like 5 times then stop for a sec then beep 5 times agin for like 5 times? or is it just 5 beeps?

ya it does ..beeps 5 times then about 30 min, another set of 5 beeps
