i lke the look of your painted grill better too. i got a question for you and its a bit off topic and i appologize but, was wondering where you got your bumper and how much was it and are you going for the lightening look too?

 

I got the bumper off of craigslist for 100 bucks and it was already painted. You can get them on ebay too. If you have a 99 thru 04 the oem Lightning bumper will fit like a glove. It also has full Lightning suspention and chromed 99 Lightning wheels from my Lightning when I upgraded.

Can that black mesh area be replaced (on a 98), or do our pickups require you replace that whole front assembly? Mine is cracked and I would like to just put that new center section in. Also, does the one one out of a 2002 F-150 fit? Again, I'm only talking about the center section, not the whole piece wrapping around the headlights (I know that doesn't fit from an 02 to a 98). I appreciate any and all help!

 

Looks nice ghostrider. Have you thought about projector headlights? IMO that would really finish off the lightning look if this is what you are going for.

 

I already have headlights and turnsignals, fog lights and the upper and lowwer grill ordered but waiting on the ups guy. If you have the bar style grill the center section won't come out but the honeycome one will. If you want I'll sell my other grill for like 20 plus shipping.
