Question Fiberglass Rear Window Trim?

I've been searching all over the place and cannot seem to find it.

I remember someone (either on here or in a F150 FB group - cannot recall) replaced the plastic rear window trim to fiberglass and painted to patch truck's color.

It looked really good but cannot find any info on where to get the part or any pictures of it. One guy in the FB group thinks the trim on 1997-1999 trucks are fiberglass.

Has anybody done it?

I changed my 98 but it was plastic. It was cracked. I put in one from a 2002 and it was also plastic from what I could tell. The 97-98 have a textured outer look, and the 99 up is smooth. Maybe that is what you are describing.

Side note. There are 2 different trims by body style. The Regular Cab and SCrew use one type and the SCab uses another. They do not swap.

Interesting - one guy said the opposite. Said 97-99 are fiberglass and 00+ are plastic.

Still trying to find more info. Hopefully someone who has done this or knows about it will chime in soon.

Would like this on my truck instead of textured plastic.
