Default Loose Bracket

1999 F150, 5.4, 2V Triton.

Bracket is located on passenger side, above exhaust manifold connection to outlet pipe. Just hanging in there free. There are two threaded bosses in the head, just above the exhaust manifold, but it does not appear there is any way to turn the loose bracket so that it can connect via either one of these bosses. Curved black pipe above the bracket is filler tube for the 700R4 transmission.

Any idea what this does, and how it fastens (and where)? Can't find it in the manuals. Thanks for any help.

What transmission? How you get that thing bolted in and working?

The bracket is leftover from when the assembly line installed the engine on the frame.
