Default A few misc items I need help with...

Between getting my MBA, work, and family i've continued to put off my front suspension project and shocks all the way around. However, i've gotten a couple other projects completed, but other items of concern have arrived...nothing major but it's annoying. I'll start with the positive.

- Found FX4 wheels on CL for $200, mounted and balanced for $40 (-$240)
- Sold my "saw-blade" wheels on CL for $150 locally (+$150)
- Found OEM SCAB black running boards with mounting brackets and bolts for $40, they were in excellent shape as the owner took them off in 2003 and left them in a shed. (-$40)

The new annoying:
- My fabric driver seat a began to tear at the seams and i'm not sure how to either fix it or at least stop the growth of it, any suggestions?
- my horn sounds WEAK, i don't know what changed but all of the sudden it's embarrassing...I lock the doors now with the interior button instead of the key fob.

New question(s):
Like i've stated over the past couple months I plan on re-doing my entire front suspension. I've already bought Monroe Monotubes (911520 & 911521) and plan on taking them into the shop with the front-end components. That being said, this truck is 13 years old and barely gets 5K put on it a year, so I really don't want to buy Moog products even though they are the best. I've priced OEM parts around Rockauto and other sites, and I came across Detroit Axle. Has anyone heard of them? They have an entire kit I need for $180; UCA, lower ball, idler, pitman, inner and outer tie rod.

So...

- Anyone heard of Detroit Axle or know of the best place to get OEM quality parts stated above for $200-250?
- Ideas for the horn fix...or just get a new horn?
- Repair for the common fabric seat tear?

THANKS!

I was able to price together Mevotech and Moog together for only $3 more on RockAuto than the Detroit Axle, so I believe I got my answer there.
