Default Engine skipping

Hey guys, I have an 03 king ranch supercrew 4x4 with the 5.4. 131k on it. When cruising at 65 or so, and if I come up on a hill the engine/tranny starts to skip in stumble a little bit. It happens right around 1500-1900 RPMs, and it goes away if I give it gas and get it to shift down. Had it checked out yesterday and cylinder one was misfiring so we replaced the plug, and she runs a little better but still has a bit of a skip. Hooked the scanner up to it and now it's throwing a PO 500 code and a B1450 for the speed sensor. Have any of you guys had this problem or issue, any thoughts, advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Change the speed sensor in the Diff. Along with #1 coil pack. It may just be time for plugs.
