Default fed up....

okay so heres my problem. i have a 2002 f-150 xl with 5.4l 4wd. well i`ve changed my driver side hub 12 times with various brands. and still junk and i`ve replaced the cv axle to. i was told maybe a bad ground wire going to my abs sensor?

second problem.. i have a clunk/ snap noise from the rear end it sounds like.. the u joints are 2 weeks old and i pulled the rotors off the rear to see how my parking brakes were and they looked fine. so i reassembled it. i had my boss check the gear backlash and he said its not bad.. now this problem only occurs at a stop in reverse or drive.. and its intermittent! it is a junk yard rear end in my truck due to a car accident.. my first rear end they put in my truck had a cracked carrier and whined the whole time now this one i swear its coming from the rear.. i had my truck on the lift at work and went front to back on it and found nothing wrong. i even de adjusted my torsion keys to see if it helped...im at a loss with this truck.. i mean im 600 miles away from 100k!!!!! wtf. if this is gunna b more of a problem owning this truck them in getting rid of it. im tired of tinkering with it every weekend... i miss my old 98 tacoma 5 spd with 171k on it i was never really doing anything to that that rinsing mudd off it... and for a fact my 150 is a tar baby soo its not 4 wheeling related

thanks inadvance!!!

That clunk in your rear end my be your posi traction clutches...it will not hurt to run them. If you can live with the noise then do so...if not put another good used one in. I've never had hub trouble so can't help you with that one. As far as a ground on a ABS sensor that's pretty simple to trace....is your abs light coming on all the time or just part of the time?
