Default Factory projectors?

After searching around craigslist in my area I seem to have found a set of lightning headlights/corner lamps. Only thing is there not regular lightning headlights, they have the main reflector body, and then closer to the center of the truck it seems to have a projector in it. Is this a factory projector or an amateur retrofit? With some 1000 grit Wet/Dry, 3000 grit wet/dry and a clear coat I think they would clean up nicely

$450! thats crazy. I did a complete retrofit for less than that.

All these are are some knockoff headlights trying to look like the 11th gen housing. From the few that had them here when they came out, nothing but horrible reports on them.
I can't even find them anymore on e-bay or amazon.

If you want lightning headlights, just look on e-bay. You can find a set for <$50.
I think these are the ones I used for my retro-fit 5 years ago and they are just now starting to get hazy. LINK

If you want clear turn signals, you can find those for around $20.

Here is a set of headlight and turn signals for <$70.
No ideal on the quality of these, many times you need to run some butyl sealant around the housing to make sure they are waterproof on these cheaper lights (don't use silicone, it will crack and not seal, use the butyl sealant in a tube, it is messy, but works on housings that are already together).

I know!! I sent him a PM and offered what I believe is a decent price for a USED set of retrofits. I also explained to him EXACTLY what you said! I’m aware the fleabay has some decent ones out there just don’t want to get screwed over for a set of headlights

Those headlights aren't exactly junk, although in the state they are, I would say they're not worth the effort to save (so, yeah, I guess they're junk in this case.) . They're Depo-brand lights that I believe are no longer manufactured.

The $70 Lighting sets are usually decent replacements.

A set of well-done projector retrofits would be best, but would be a lot if work and a fair amount of expense. (Or just expense if buying a set already made.)

That’s not a bad deal and I’m pretty sure that’s the vendor I got my replacement headlights from and mine have been solid to this point. Can’t say they’re any worse than anything else out there, especially since they’re not coming straight from China for $20 or some ridiculously low price like I see some of these LED head/taillight sets go for.
