F150 Trailer light problem
My dads Chevy C2500 did the same thing after 32K miles. The Chevy dealer with their wonderful experts had the nerve to tell him nothing was wrong. He ended up re-wiring 75% of the wires for the tow package and brake lights along with replacing fuses and relays and finally fixed the problem. Still dont know what caused it because none of the wires were pulling out of connecters and no corrosion any where.
Of course this voided his warranty completly. Probably because it was a chevy.....

I had the opposite problem - 4ways/Brakes worked, no running lights. Bad wire about midship, I ended up running a lead off of the tail lights to the back of the 7 pole connector, Pulled a trailer 2000+ Miles with no problems.
