i found them listed under a 2002 F150, in the brake/wheel hub section in the hydraulic hoses. they're farther down the list- closer to the bottom. they show like $23 for price of individual lines, but they only sell them in pairs of 2. so double the price of $23 to about $46/$47ish.

yes indeed i did get new shocks haha, much better than the blown out factory originals.

but damn, i wish the engine bay of my truck was that clean, what did you do to get it looking like that? i'm quite jealous honestly lol.

Thanks for the info, I'll check that out after chopping the lawn.

Oh that's easy, that pic is 8 years old, installed all new components, then froze it in time....downer ehh

I'll take a pic later, it's probably dusty, other than that it's clean under the hood. I usually vacuum it once in awhile with a horse hair brush attatcment (seriously), but haven't this year that I can remember.

i want to get the whole engine bay of my truck nice and clean and degrease the engine so i can figure out where some of the oil grime build up is coming from if it so happens to be a small leak somewhere or not.

it's been like this for years but i want to figure it out finally so it's no longer a mystery.

so brew, which rotors did you go with to remedy the issue of needing 12mm studs but also having rotors thick enough for the bigger calipers?

The clips showed up, 2003 F150 7700 DRC's

They will look like this on the pads and under the caliper, -

I looked at a Lincoln through the rim and they come on them factory. I could only see one but they they looked a little different than these. They were thicker on the Lincoln w/chrome plating. These are pretty strong though, should work.

Thanks again w0lvez for the tip on these. BTW, I'm O-Ring heavy over here, have various kits and many sizes (thicknesses that fit the 98 hub rotor flange). I realize the Ford part hub ring in made differently, of different materials. Once I get the rotors I'll see how all that works out.

It'll be work is all, - degrease, followed up by a good rust cutter, then go from there on the block or any thing all caked up w/foreign matter. A little blaster can make and engine a thing of beauty pretty quick with the variety of media that's on the market. Then brush in protectant. They have some really excellent canned paints that you can brush on that boast a paint booth finish out there as well. Or close enough to it anyway.

Work, research and all that jazz before you freak the nasty.

That's not a worry. Studs are 14mm w/12mm threads. They are 14 where the rotor sits. I'm probably going to use O-rings for an easy center for the rotor only. That's ONLY for cetering and nothing else. I'll find out if the rotor is going to shift while breaking in the pads. Worse case, -I'll drill countersink the rotor and tap the hub flange to incorporate rotor screws. I don't think it will come to that.

I using EBC rotors, - posted all this info and rotors a few pages back. I know, big thread now. The rotors purchased are listed for all expeditions. They didn't say from 99 or 00 up, - it said ALL. I'll show all that when it gets here. EBC, - They are the slowest in shipping.

BTW- yea I need brake lines for a 98 F150, - no substitute when it comes to lines unless I customize. This problem has claimed at least 4 pages in this thread, but I'll look again for dorman lines. Actually, I don't care what year they come from as long they are for rear ABS only trucks.

.
I just looked, Dorman doesn't even list a braided hose for the 2002 F150.

Didn't think so.

i never said it was dorman brand lol.

i think the brand is centric or something like that. what's the difference between the caliper to the hard lines on 4WABS and 2WABS? i would think they would be the same hoses but the hard line being where it differs. wouldn't make sense to make the flexible lines different as well.
