Ok guys I no this Is a 1997-2003 which I have. But bought a 91 yesterday. Figured I'd get more help over here.


I just bought a 91 f150 4x4 with the 5.0 well the truck has been sitting for a year. We through a hot battery in and it started up. But after running for a few minutes the exhaust was very hot. At the end of the pipe, it was so hot it will burn your hand. Dont no if its just from sitting or what. Please help!!! Thanks.

I'd say get up under her and see which bank if not both are hot. To me it sounds like she's over fueling a bank and the gas in burning in The exhaust rather than in the engine.
