Default f150 brake problem

In the past year i have replaced the drums and shoes in the rear, and the pads and rotors up front. a few weeks ago i did front pads again because i felt a wobble. realized the old pads were still good. so i changed them any way.

Now, it skeeks like hell!!!!!!!!

Why? lol

and today while driving, my ABS light and ebrake light came on and off a few times!!!

Why? lol

once i got home and parked with the truck still running, the ABS light began Flashing!!!!

Why? lol

Please, any input would be great....

have you checked to see if the brake fluid is topped of. sometimes if its low those lights will come on.

i think the original poster has the ABS light flashing. you will have to have the codes scanned to see what is the problem going on.

as for the brake noise, who did the brakes? were the rotors resurfaced? slides lubed?

Am reading two unrelated ussues. 1st is the brakes, brake shoes and drums replaced on rears. Front pads and rotors replaced. OK, a very good and thorough brake job performed. Then pads replaced because of a wobble, this is wrong, the rotors are warped (excessive heat) not the pads causing the wobble. 2nd issue is the ABS, most likely a sensor dirty or misaligned, believe the two issues are unrelated in origin and have to be addressed accordingly. This isn't giving you the answer you want, its how I see it.

MAC97F150--- That was the first thing i cheaked, because my jeep did that once. not the ABS light, cuz it does not have ABS but the fluid was real low and the E brake light kept comming on--- Fluid is good

ebxgsxr--- yes the light is flashing, and i did the brakes. the first time i did pads, rotors, calapers and did lube the slides. this past time i just did the pads and lubed the tubes

Good old Bill--- im not looking for an specific answer, im just looking for someone who can enlighten me. and tell me what i should do. lol. im not the typical kid who thinks i know all. im asking for help so any answer is better then mine. ha ha so you think the rotor is warped? what the best way to cheak that? and where exatly is the ABS sensor so i can see how dirty it is?

PS thank you for all who gave anykind of response

hey i might have an answer for your squeek problem... well anyways it fixed mine. the factory calipers seem to wear out and dont fully return to the open position for sake of discussion. i bought aftermarket caliper's and it fixed the issue. I'm not saying go out and buy a new set. but try takin th caliper apart and greesing it up a bit and clean it. then re-assemble it. this could fix your problem. but im not promising anything. but its some where to start ... Also for your ABS light. it could be that your hydrolic's are going out. the light flashing could be it flashing out a code number. but i could be misinturpeting. i have fixed trucks with the ABS light on becuase of hydrolic issues. i hope this helps a little. just lik some have said check your brake fluid and maybe inspect your hose's for possible leaks. ill have to do some more research on the light thogh to be 100% sure.
