Will it hurt to straight pipe my 5.4l with 170,00 miles and by straight pipe I mean replace the muffler with a straight pipe and leave the cats

Nope. Sounds pretty good too, nice cheap exhaust setup

Alright it's a little off topic but what are your thoughts on pillar gauges I though about getting a triple pod gauge set up

There's better things to spend the money on, on a gasser. I'd really only run them on a diesel unless you just want them lol
