Default Evolution Cts and edge evo

Alright so I have an older edge evo and am upgrading to a cts. Will there be any gains? And what all can I do with the cts that I couldn't with the evo. Also can I do an O2 delete and EGR delete with it? Also where should I get good custom tunes from?

The CTS cannot do custom tunes anymore. All the CTS has is canned tunes and a touch screen. The canned tunes are the same between the two so there's no advantage to do so even if you wanted to stay with canned tunes. With any Edge product, Power Hungry Performance is the only place you can get custom tunes for it. However, PHP doesn't upgrade the Evo for the 97-03 models, so if you're wanting to go custom you need to look a different direction like SCT.

Why are you wanting to delete the rear O2's (I'm assuming just the rears because deleting all the O2 sensors is impossible.)? If you're redoing the exhaust you have to have cats anyways (federal law) it's easy to have the rear O2 sensors there. In a gas motor there's no advantage to deleting the EGR either. These aren't soot filled diesel motors. Most who delete the EGR see lower mileage and no power gain unless there was an issue already.

Deleting the egr because I can't get get the egr tube free from the intake and I'm installing headers. And I don't have ant cats. I got the truck this way. And am re doing the exhaust so it will exit infront of the back tire.

PHP isnt doing tune RIGHT NOW they are waiting for edge to redo fusion since it was the route of their problems. I ordered my custom tune for my cs before they took their break and Im happy with mine and will be waiting for them to continue tunning for the cs and cts because of how good a job they did and their customer service. Plus my tunes are $30

SCT can do anything up to forced induction. It's more than capable. The tunes that are available canned won't do you any good. You'll need a custom tune to do the headers, EGR, etc. Talk to member Franchi on here to get prices for the device, and look at Troyer, VMP, 5star, or MPT for custom tunes.

Bill doesn't know when Fusion will be ready to do custom uploads again if ever. Either Bill would have to redo their server on his time, or pay an Edge engineer (a hefty price I can't disclose) to redo it. So it could be years before Fusion would be able to work with custom tuning.
