Hello, I am new here. I have been searching for information on changing the evap cannister on my 1992 Ford F150 for a few days and have found very little information online. The symptoms I am experiencing, when filling up at the gas pump, the pump will shut off every 60 seconds when fueling. Yesterday the truck wouldn't start. I think it has to do with the Evap cannister. Can anyone share any info they have, which part they think needs to be fixed, best place to find the part, what tools I would need to do the swap.

if you did not get a CEL for small evap leak than you are probably good.
Symptom of gas nozzle shutting off may simply be because of the angle of the nozzle. it happens sometimes.
