Default Engine and Transmission swap

Hey. I have a 99 f150 4x4 that needs an engine. anyway i found a parts truck with a good engine and a 5 speed tranny for $700. I would also like to swap my auto for the manual the only thing is the parts truck is a 2wd. does anyone know what I will all need to do this? Is the output shaft different on the 2wd transmission? will the computer from the 2wd work on the 4x4? will the pedals, master cylinder etc. all bolt up? what about the steering coulum? any thing else? the parts truck is a 97 if that makes a difference.

Thanks

You will ahve to change the computers, you will have to change the transmission wiring harness, you will have to hang the clutch, cut a hole for the shifter, If the trucks are the same year it will all bolt up. Do a little research, but I think if you take the transmission to a transmission shop they can put the transfercase on the back of the manual. Why would you want a manual?
