no. and there could be, a T56 could work, but you would need a custom driveshaft, custom mounting, etc.
BTW, even if an M5R2 from a 4.2L did fit behind a lightning motor, you would grenade it quite quickly.
You do have another option, the M5R2 from a 4.6L truck would have no problems bolting up, as the 5.4L and 4.6L have the same bellhousing pattern.

why a stick shift, just my .02 if im hot rodding something/building it to enjoy i would go with an automatic, but i would get the 5spd from the 5.4/4.6 v8 if i would get a stick shift

sticks are more fun to drive in high power applications IMO. You are able to manipulate the power that is being put to the ground more efficiently, and how you like it...

a properly built automatic with a high stall convertor and a tune by someone who ACTUALLY knows how to tweak the shift tables will always be more consistant on the track and has more potential under any power application.

If you wanna run fast and do it over and over auto is the way to go. if you wanna go out and have fun you must have a gear jammer. nothin beats hearing the churrp churrp into second and third. If your replacing a trans to fit a 5.4 i would slap a T56 in I used to use 6th all the time in my T/a. Same trans pretty much just made in mexico not canada.
