Default Engine Stalling

What would cause the engine to stall out when I come to a stop? The alternator was recently replaced after it went out and the battery was dead. Battery was tested good and reused after alternator replaced. Could I need to drive it more? (Not my primary truck) to let the computer reset?

Any recommendations/ suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Thanks. Eric

If its stalling when you come to a stop it could be a vacuum leak or a number if things what size engine do you have I know the 4.2 are bad about lower intake leaks

You should be able to google it or buy a Haynes or chiltons manual should be a good place to start is the check engine lite coming on? If so have it checked first and even it it's not you can still have it checked sometimes it will throw a manufactures specific code that doesn't always make the light come on

First couple things I can think of. Vacum leak, IAC on the throttle body or TCC soleniod in tranny.
