Default engine not firing wright

i have a 2002 f150 xlt 4x4 4.6 liter super cab with 103000 miles on it.My truck was running ok till i went through this puddle the other day it was early in the morning i did not see it was going about 30mph per hour after i ran through it now my engine is misfiring sort of feels like a timing issue. What would cause my truck not to run wright after that?
Thanks in advance
Ralph

Since you said water i would suggesting looking around your coil packs and see if they are all connected nice and tight, maybe take them off and put some electrical grease (cant think of proper name). And if that is still wrong pull the packs off and the plugs out. see if any water got down the holes.
