Default Engine missfiring but no check engine light

Howdy y'all.
I have a question. 2 weeks ago my truck started cutting out and miss firing on my way home. I figured it was the spark plugs because it was getting close to 50K miles on the ones that I had in there. I pulled over and had my wife bring me my tools and some new plugs. I changed the 4 passenger plugs and got too cold to try and do the other 4 I figured I had 50% chance of getting the bad plug. Started the truck up and it sounded great. So I drove it home so I could warm up and then do the other 4 plugs. As I started speeding up to go down the high way it started cutting out again and since I was still 45 minutes from home I limped it there. I changed the other 4 plugs and one of the tabs on one coil pack broke on me so I bought a new coil pack. I have now changed that coil pack. Monday the truck rand great, Tuesday morning it rand great and lunch time it started cutting out again, and it did it again on my way home Tuesday, and now to today it cut out some at low speeds and ran great at 70 to 75 mph. I have no codes being shown but a buddy of mine plugged up his reader and wasn't calibrated for 2001 F150 but it said exhaust heater sensor bank 3 and bank 4 malfunction.

So my question is do you think that it could be my O2 sensors going out? Or is it something else. Thank you

I'm going to say it's probably the coils.

Probably coils? Did you change the spark plug wires as well? Did you properly Gap them? Did you buy high quality (not copper)?

Yep coils, stick with Motorcraft plugs and either Motorcraft or Denso coils (only) and that problem with be a thing of the past.

I replaced the coils 50K miles ago the last time I replaces the plugs before the other day. I wouldn't figure that they would go bad already.

Replaced the coils with what coils? Plugs with what plugs? It does make a difference as Brew posted already.

Well 50K miles ago I put Bosch platinum 4 plugs in and Granatelli Motorsports Coils. Just a few weeks ago I put Motorcraft plugs in.
