Default Engine machine shop recommendation

I inherited my brother's 2002 F-150 that has Navigator heads and a Whipple 2.3 supercharger, it dynos 620 CA smog legal hp to the rear wheels. The engine now has 53K miles on it and needs rebuilding.

Can anyone recommend an engine machine shop that does high quality work? I'm in Southwest Oregon but I'm willing to ship it practically anywhere.

Thanks

I don't see a lot of high HP guys on this forum, but I could be wrong. I would post your thread up on lightningrodder or svtperformance.

For a build of that quality, I'd send it to big mikes speed and machine in Wichita ks. He is a wizard with mod motors. And also worked for Steve Morris in the past.

For those types of numbers, I'd look to someone like Mod Max or Shrader Performance. They are very very well known in the Mustang world, and will do a solid job for you.

a good place to start might be the Lightning rodder forums, those guys know a good bit about these hopped up mod motors. You might get lucky and find someone local to you. Post some pics it sounds nasty.

Did you have a bad experience with them?

ModMax is all over in Mustangs.

Thanks guys.

Here is a link to a website about my brother's truck.

http://www.i-disappear.com/mad.htm

Since this website was done, Mike upgraded the chassis with a 4 link rear suspension, air bags at the corners and rack & pinion steering. It handles like a Corvette.
