HAHA! We got a lot of that red much here in CO, too! I actually had it stain the paint on my white mitsubishi pickuip! Left it on too long cause I thought it was cool to have a stock 2wd covered in mud! Only part that was clean was the winshield where the wipers did their job, and the lights and windows/mirrors I wiped off to keep from getting pulled over. Once I did wash it it was almost like red socks turning your underwear pink in the washer! Had a wierd pink hue to it the rest of the time I owned it!

Thanks.. I haven't checked out that particular site, but have seen the aluminum pieces before. they are nice, but I'm trying to steer clear of chrome and polished aluminum for this truck. My personal opinion, I know... But it just doesn't look right on a white vehicle. Always appreciate the input though! Thanks again.

HAHA! Actually, I HAVE thought of that! It kinda saddens me that car manufacturers have gotten away from that. I miss the blue motors in Fords and Dodges, and the Orange ones in Chevys.... Added just a touch of detail as if to say "Yes, we actually do put some time into our building process." I still might do that some time when I have a long weekend or something. Plus it wouldn't hurt to have them off just to check the condition of the valve train.

Yes it is a shame that manufacturers quit doing that
