You could always do a Superduty transmission cooler but thats doesnt really deal with the engine. Are you going to switch your converter?

I was wondering about the benefit of swapping to a slightly larger converter say 2200-2400. Ive got a 1600-1800 I believe right now.

You can really change the torque and HP curves with cams. The right set of cams makes a world of difference. However, with our trucks naturally making 350 lb ft at 2500 is almost perfect.

Not an engine question,but how much should I try to get rid of my old trans for? It needs a rebuild,has all the gears but slips when you get on it

I have the troyer trans cooler with the aux fans. I think the e fan equipped heat exchanger would be a good start. Maybe a bigger radiator. The cheapest I've found are $599

I can get the 3" heavy duty dual core radiators for 159 at the local shop.

This is why a want an L swap for towing. Easily 8,000lbs+ back there on the 24' tilt deck. An extra 100hp/120tq would have been handy too

How is the truck pulling ferg? I want to use mine once in awhile to tow a mud truck,if I go with my plans truck and trailer will be pushing 8k

Surprisingly well. Definitely could use some gears but it would hold overdrive at 58mph without much complaint
