Oh cool. Well I don't want to go through the expense or trouble of gathering what's required for a SC right now so going NA is probably what I would be going with. So since my trucks a 97 and obviously a NPI engine, if I just swap on PI heads and intake, and also maybe mild cams, what all would be required to be done in order to do all of that? Obviously swap heads and intake, but what else? What kind of cams do you have? And you have a PI swapped 97 don't you? So I should be at the same compression as you once swapped right?

I have custom grind cams from SHM. Yes I have a 97. So compression wise will be close. Off the self cams would probably have too much lift.

Off the self cams? Stock? And what would too much lift cause? Cause piston to valve clearance issues?

What? I'm not wanting A/M heads, PI is fine for me.
Probably a 400

So 400$ shipped? Heads and an intake and some misc extras. What all would the few extras be? Just curious lol. And I would have to talk to my dad about it, he still owns the truck and I'm not sure how he'd feel about spending money on something like this "when it runs fine how it is" and "it works just fine right now" lol. That's what he'd probably say lmao. But yeah I'd have to talk it over with him. Where are you located again?
