I think that's about it other than regearing. How are you coming along?
I wouldnt think you would need a fan for the h/e if you go down to a 4lb pulley. extra precaution I guess

Ya your a ways ahead. Why are you replacing the timing set and head bolts on a newer engine? Pulling the heads as well or replacing one bolt with one stud at a time?

And i shipped your cooler today. I'll pm you tracking info as well. It was a little tight in the flat rate but it should get safely. Marked as fragile and insured it for your purchase price as well

I reused the old chain and tensioners when I rebuilt. I'll pull the entire head and then stud it. Just have to do head gaskets.

And thanks brother! Hey, I know a guy wanting to swap a 4 for a 6 if your interested. ... lemme know

The guy on the buy/trade fb page? I want a to run a bit less boost from the get go since it'll be a few months (probably) a year until I can start seriously putting this motor together as a replacement. I don't need 11-13lbs of boost on a 170,000 mile engine lol

And ya, it's sad when the most expensive part of a modular rebuild is oem timing components.

Yeah, his name is Sean Rowe. I've bought some stuff from him. Very prompt with shipping. Could be the right deal for you.

Yeah, unfortunately that's how it has to be. : / I'll be installing a 3" body lift before I do it. Will give me a little more room to work with. But still no fun.

Thanks I messaged him.

Anyone have any real reviews on mmr products? With their ported heads and supercharger cams (matched correctly to specs) supposedly will gain 80-90 hp for less than $2000 sounds almost too good to be true compared the price of most 2v products

I've seen someone on LR post up flow numbers on their MMR "ported heads" and the flow results and pictures of the head were less than flattering. TF might be a better bang for the buck in terms of flow.
