Default Eng swap

I have a 2002 f150 with a bad 4.6,Ihave a chance to buy a 2008 crown vic eng. I was going to strip the cv down to a long block and reuse the truck componets on the cv block. My only concern is the f150 is a standard and the cv is an auto. Does anyone know where you van get a standard flywheel to fit the cv eng so to keep the eng balance correct?

As long as they are the same plant (Windsor vs Romeo) then you should be able to reuse your old flywheel. Count the valve cover bolts and if they both are the same, you should be able to reuse it. A Romeo has 11 valve cover bolts (and a 6 bolt flywheel), while the Windsor has 13 valve cover bolts (and an 8 bolt flywheel).

The truck is a Windsor and the cv is a romeo. I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a aftermarket supplier that made a 6 bolt standard flywheel.
