Default emergency !!!!

Please help guys
earlier this night i was leaving work and got on the highway only to end up noticing i wasn't moving after 3 gear or so at 50 mph the rpms would rev and the trans would not go into gear i barely made it home so i bought some Lucas transmission seal the see if it would help the slipping and when leaving the auto parts store i come to find out my truck won't go into reverse so i don't have a reverse and the trans slips after 1st or second
but when i turn over drive off it seems to shift into gears but not that well,
has anyone had this happen to them or what is it and is it something that i can rebuild easily any help is great!
thanks guys

Yes you can rebuild it yourself.

It will be hard if you don't have much mechanical knowledge.
