So I'm driving my truck that has been sitting for about a month now because i needed to add a new positive connector to my starter, radio stopped working when i put it in drive i wasn't to alarmed by it, so i continue on my drive everything seems to be going smoothly then it starts to rain so i put the windshield wipers on and they don't budge? So i pull over to check what the problem is, put it in park and the windshield wipers start to work and the radio comes on as well? I thought to myself ''Great this truck just fixed itself''. Put it in drive and they turn off again. So in a nutshell the windshield wipers and radio only work when its in park but not in drive.

I figure the fuses are fine if they are working in park so i am at lost of what to do about it so any help would be appreciated.

Might be the GEM unit. If they have been water damaged from leaky windshields all sorts of poltergeist behavior begins to appear. Inspection is warranted.
