Default Electrical Bug

2000 F-150 has developed and electrical bug. Check engines light comes on for several seconds then goes off, and the oil pressure warning light does the same thing. The tach and speedometer drop to 0 then resume their correct position. All this goes on randomly for a few minutes then it stops happening. The Ford dealer was unble to to determine the cause.

Don't wanna scare you, but I believe the control modules you're gonna suspect are in your instrument cluster. I would check grounds first. Also, double check that you dont have water leaking down your A pillar. It likes to do this if your windshield or roof (from visors) is leaking... then drip down into your gem module. That will give you electrical gremlins for sure.

Don't think water is an issue but the dash was pulled off about a year ago in order to replace the heater core. I'll have the instrument cluster checked out. Thanks so much for the advice.
