I was wondering if it would hurt the way your truck ran if u deleted the EGR by capping it off

It will run hotter and if you do not get it programmed to run without the PCM will keep your SES light on. Why disable it? There is no performance gain at wide open throttle.

Cause the manifold leaks has a crack and egr tube is crack in half and i ask ford how much for a new hose he said 125 bucks so figured just cap it off when i put the new manifold on

In the old days you could cap them off but not any more, your truck will run like crap.

Your NOX output will be high too. The EGR introduces exhaust gases into the combustion chamber to keep the combustion temperatures down. High exhaust temps increase NOX output.
