Default edge question

Hey guys on the edge evolution when I select shift firmness and such it says 12 23 or 34 before I select the rpm. What do those stand for?

You can select shift firmness. + or - depending whether you want it softer or firmer.
I like mine at +10 for the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. Leave alone the 3-4, I hear it's not good for the tranny.

The part throttle shifts can also be adjusted up or down depending whether you want it to shift sooner (gas mileage) of later (power).
It goes by + or - mph's.

Going easy with the throttle, there insn't much difference. At about half or about is when you can really tell the difference.
I like mine maxed out. My serpentine belt will let out a squeel with each shift above half throttle.

Nothing to be afraid of. Just know what exactly you want it to do before adjusting anything.
Firmer shifts? Softer shifts?
Shift sooner? Shift later?
Power? Gas mileage?

You can always hit the return to default button and set everything back to the factory settings if you don't like it.
It really won't let you do anything drastic that can hurt anything, other than bumping the timing up with too low octane gas. But you will hear it pinging away if you do.

Make sure to hit the "save these settings" button after you make changes. If not they will NOT go into effect when you program it.
