Well 23 hours later I'm in Florida took one day drove all through the night towed my 8foot trailer with two bikes and had my quad in the bed. I got 17 mpg and I love my 03 hahaha

By far best pickup I've ever owned I was hesitant at first but she never let me down

Ultimate test for towing straight 23 hours towing about 5400 lbs

I guess I'll be the first one to raise the BS Flag on that..

Haters will be haters man. He's pissed off because his truck only gets 12 mpg with no load.

With that being said, I believe your truck could have gotten 17 mpg. It all depends on the maintenance and upkeep. My 02 super crew with 35's gets about 17 mpg on the interstate with no load. Loaded its not so great.

Let the haters and people who just look for junk to say about other peoples stuff hate and say what they want. You know what your truck can and will do.

I'm not trying to hate. I'm just saying that getting 17 MPGs with a 5400# trailer and a quad that weighs at least 400# in the bed is pretty ridiculous. I am sure others who have towed on here would agree with me. If you drove there doing 55MPH with a 30MPH tailwind the whole way I might buy it.

Love the edit too, btw.

I also have a 01 screw on 35's and I pull almost 18 on the highway. No load. I'd say it's very possible. Plus why would anybody make a new thread to lie about gas mileage? The right mods and a decent foot you can get good mpg numbers outta these trucks.

My two dirt bikes weigh probably 2200 combined my trailer weighs 2900 and my quad weighs 300 driving 50-65 with a 25 gallon tank getting 415 miles to my first tank of gas what's the math..... 16.6.... Okay Charles in charge the math doesn't lie so enough with your physics lesson professor i was impressed with my mpg with my first tank of gas I'm not saying i got that the hole way now did it get worse I would imagine it did an I going to argue with you... No

I will say maybe you gotta learn how to drive a truck like a truck and not a honda civic and maybe youd get better gas mileage an you wouldnt be so mad your truck cant perform and I edit what I said because I can tell your a clown and like to argue with people via the Internet

Please tell, what mods? I drove to Fl with no load and cruise control pretty much the whole way and only got 14 MPG. Now I have a month before driving to Alaska so I am all for MPG increasing mods.
